Cooling down a tekin Rs

Im Currently running my tekin Rs in an hpi blitz and it thermals about 10 minutes into a run..

Setup:
Tekin Rs Box stock setings w/ lipo cutoff
Traxxas Vxl 3500kv motor
Proline SC calibers
19/83 gearing
No binding problems on the driveline and gearing is conservative.

motor comes of the track at 150 Degrees in 95 degree ambient temps.. esc is around 150 on the outer case.

Has the stock (tiny) power capacitor, i think im going to install a larger one to help with the amp load.. does anyone have any other tips to reducing temps?

I dont have a hotwire to adjust timing or anything like that.

Install a small fan so it is blowing on the solder posts. These are pretty awesome (sound like a small turbine): http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=150375007392

Tell me about it, I run my MMM in my truggy without a fan and it came of the track after a long run at 200 deg and is still kicking :P

Im gonna try the capacitor first, then if I can get the case open, see if there is any way to add a heatsink to the FETS without electrocuting myself...

Anyone remember the alloy case that ( I think ) was a joint venture between Mike, GriffinUR & Tekin? I wonder whatever happend to that... ( worked awesomely to keep temps down in testing ).

I remember the case. I need such a case for a rspro that i'm wanting to get in the very near future.

I installed 2 330uf Low ESC capacitors on the esc, testing them tommorow
