bec, servos, and any help would be great!

OK guys, I'm dropping the dual servo setup on my muggy. I just bought a jr9000t and am going to convert this bad boy into a single high torque setup. I was wondering about the whole BEC thing, would this one be ok to use to power this baby? http://cgi.ebay.com/CASTLE-CREATIONS...item3f05906ac7

Im not sure at all about the whole BEC thing, could someone please explain to me how to use it so I can run 6v into this servo to get maximum torque to it? How do I use the bec and connect the servo to the receiver at the same time? could someone explain it to me? I know the MMM only supplies what like 5v to the servos? Or am I missing something? Thanks for any help I can get you guys! peace Please help me out you guys!

btw could someone please recommend a good charger that I can plug into the wall to charge 6s lipos without a power supply? I dont want to mess with one and I would like to charge my 6s and 5s lipos from home, I bought the thunder ac6 but it wont charger my 6s 4000mah lipos from the wall socket! Please shoot me some suggestions guys, Im sorry Im new to this whole BL thing and electronics in general. I have pretty much everything I need to get this going but I need to finish up the servos, the charger, the bec, and whatever else you guys can suggest! Thanks guys! cham

Cham, the CC BEC is a good unit but you may want to go with the CC Pro BEC, it has a higher "S" limit just in case you go with a higher voltage brushless setup in the future. You can find the pro on the Castle site. As far as setting the voltage, that is done via the castle link you use for programming the MMM. The BEC will come with instructions on how it gets wired in, but if you need specific help feel free to post up your questions (and pics usually help getting accurate answers after you have the parts in place).

As for a charger I would say to keep the one you have and build a power supply for home use. Do a search for "building a power supply" :-) good cheap solutions to be had...

You don't need a BEC Pro unless you are going above 6s and technically the Pro is only good for 6s in car use.

Look here for diagrams of setups and how to wire a BEC.
