Gearing for a 1900kv motor.

Hi !

I have an e-maxx bl ed with a 1900kv motor in 1515 size runing 4s lipo! What gearing would be good for this setup for offroad use?

What esc are you using?

What motor is it exactly?

I would say though that with the BL Emaxx's 6.3" tires ( I assume you are using those ), something like 20-22/68 gearing will be fine for ~40mph topspeed- adjust gearing up or down depending on motor/esc & battery temps ( hot motor + cool esc = gear up, cool motor + hot esc = gear down, hot everything = gear down ).

I recommend you buy many pinions and make tests of temperature ........... ¿you use mod1 or 32p?

I found the problem :)
It was the throtle expo setting that made the motor act funny !

On this esc i can only activate the "auto detect" or nicd/nimh mode...
I have the mmm combo that came with the truck but i don'whant to use it now when it's springtime and extreamly wet outside.
I,ve waterproofed the anaconda esc.
