revo rear toe in? and body question?
i just got my revo together and looked at my rear tires and they look like this / \ pointing inwards. but when i push the rear down they straighten out? this is new for me so what adjustments do i need to do to get the wheels straight
i have a 16.5 inch wheelbase what body would u guys recommend. and is 20.5 inch long. width is standard revo size. |
Did you buy the truck used because it shouldn't be like that if it came out of the box mine looks like it doesn't change much between compression and normal ride height, sounds like somebody messed with the settings a little
As far as body i run a stock 3.3 body on my 3.3 and a rockpleaser on my G2R and both look good |
If the rear toe links are on the bottom of the knuckles, then switch them over to the top. If they are on top, then put them on bottom. Basically, you want the toe links to be parallel with the suspension arms to avoid this situation.

Yes, if you bought it used and dont have the included hollow balls and shims for the tierods, I would recommend getting them. The problem your having is the bumpsteer. There made to be able to dial it out but you have to have the shims and hollow balls.

yea i bought the parts seperately. just put them together. the tie rods came with hollow balls. but shims? r these the same as the shims on the arm pins? i will try switching the knuckles tip though. ne have a bigger body to recommend. this truck is long and it needs a long enough body.

No, the hollow ball kit comes with dfferent height hollow balls and some dark grey shims to tune the bumpsteer the way you want: http://www.buytraxxas.com/product_in...oducts_id=2172
