Monster x motor start fail. No power on start from stop

Hey guys running into an issue with my monster x in my truggy. When it's sitting still and I punch the throttle it takes off like I have allot of torque control engaged. It's really slow for about 2 feet then kicks in and takes off. Other times it takes off slow and then stops while I'm still on the trigger and blinks motor start failure. I pulled a log and its pulling 75 amps from a standstill acceleration. Is that enough to kick in a motor start failure code?
Current setup
1965kv truggy motor
Et48 15/44 gearing
4s 5000mah 40c
Tried three motors same issue.
Any ideas?

If I take off and get moving first it's ok. All current limiting and punch control is disabled.

So I tried a few different motors and got the same thing. Slow take off and then full power after a foot or so. Also got the start fail and shut down beeps. Tried my Buggys monster x in my truggy and same thing.
Finally tried my gen1 monster and it would rip the wheels off from a standstill. Then tried a monster 2 and was also perfect.
Are the monster x esc's very conservative on the start power. I literally can't nail the throttle at the start of a race in fear that it shuts down and beeps a start failure.

Sounds like an individual esc problem. I'd send it in and get a replacement. I imagine it's within it's warranty period.

Hopefully Castle will chime in here.

Nah I have two and they both do it. Feels just like torque control but it's disabled. Sometimes it takes off full power after the hesitation and sometimes it shuts down and beeps twice for motor start failure. Tried 3 motors and a few different 4s packs. I really think the start power current is to conservative for the bigger motors. It's only pulling 70 -80 Amps when it does this. Once it gets rolling it's fine

Try adding a little torque control. It's probably not likening the amp spike

I did ,all that does is slow down the hit after that initial lag. Shouldn't it be able to take 75 amps? I can feel it in my buggy also but obviously its allot lighter so it's much less intrusive and never goes into start fail mode.
I just ran the truggy at the track and coming out of the one turn I had no punch. I had to waite a few feet for it to kick in. Driving me nuts.

Little update. I tossed in my original first gen monster and was flawless all day. Literally ran 6-7 packs not one issue.
I'll call castle Monday. But at least I know it's not me lol.
