Took the maxx for a test run this morning with the new flm chassis, and after the about 10 slow to moderate passes I noticed the motor rotating under torque until the motor wires stopped it turning...

2382 kv 7XL?

I have recently bought a new motor for the emaxx and was told it is a feigao 7XL. Someone has stuck a label on one of the power wires that reads 2382 kv.

From what I can find out the 7XL is rated...

I think I'll go 14 or 15 on the 51 spur and 12 cells, until I need new batts, then go 14 or 16 cells.

Were you running a 9920 before.?

Fried Hv-maxx, what now...

The short story is that I fried my novak esc and I need a new set up. The 4400 was boring me bit anyway. Here is what I have -

MIP CVDs all round
Steel idlers
Alloy diff cups and diff cases...
