I'd also check the motor shaft to make sure it didn't get bent...

The diff fluid will tolerate way hotter. 400+ degrees. It's the shear that breaks it down.

I'd agree with above, really high temps will be tougher on the bearings and slipper pads. I'd guess 200*...

Running my 1700kv T8, I was impressed with the power output and overall speed running on 5s. Temps were about 130* after ~20min....
