I'd say adding overdrive to the rear would give you more on power steering if anything. More off power steering too. When power is applied, the rear wheels spin faster than the front wheels causing...

I didn't mention that I was running 6s lipo in a 1/8 scale. The same esc in a 2s powered b4 runs the 9100s w/o glitching, but still drops the bec voltage enough so that my personal transponder...

I would just go with a medium size digital servo. I run a futaba s9551 low profile servo in my 1/8 buggy because of the problem. Despite only 122 in-oz of torque, it gets the job done. The JR9100s...

What servo are you running? High powered servos seem to cause trouble with some MMP's. Even slightest servo movement with those servos will cause the bec voltage to drop so much that the reciever...

Yes, there are 12 distinct "steps" where the rotor likes to sit, per revolution - most notable when you try to spin the rotor by hand. Is this what you are refering to?

Question:

Is the amount of torque control also based on throttle? So if you apply 50% vs. 100% throttle from a slow speed you get different amounts of torque instead of it being the same (assuming...

This "torque control" could be great. I'm seeing it as an aid for throttle control in the infield without compromising (possibly even increasing) speed in the straight.

Could this be a step toward...

I found the sweet spots of these motors to be around 25-30K rpm. I run a 1509 2.5Y (1450kv) on 6s in my 8ight build so I am just out of range. I am limited to 12/46 or 13/46 or temps start getting a...

I had a feigao 9L in my 8ight a couple of years ago. I'd have to say similar to a 2650 on 4s with less bottom end, but overheated no matter what gearing or voltage was used. Not worth it in my...

unplug the sensor and see if the problem improves. If it does, you have a bad sensor in the motor. The same system happened to me before with a 17.5. A new motor fixed the problem.

I was refering to the brace that goes from the servo brace to the chassis. I removed it mainly to get some more chassis flex as I do not have the 2.0 chassis.
