I'm running that combo in one MBX6 and depending on the track I've been using 16 or 17/44. If your using the 46 tooth spur I would start with 17.

You guys really need to get an RS or RS pro for 1/10. The RX8 is not for 1/10, it's just too big & heavy. Leave it in your 1/8th.

Just a heads up. If you get the new rotor I beleive Novak recomends gearing up a couple of teeth from where you had it with the old rotor. You may not need to regear at all with the new rotor.
