Keep in mind that was designed almost two years ago :)

The battery positioning depends on the number and type of cells you run. Putting them next to the motor (with some heat shielding of course)...

That design is not derived directly from any of the previous designs in this thread. It uses a floor pan that is an integral part of the chassis, creating a three plate chassis and hopefully leading...

Haha... It's been a while since I've been here. Actually, it's been a while since I've done anything with RC cars. I found a guy who wanted a chassis and I designed one but unfortunate circumstances...

I tried Alibre and found it a bit unintuitive, but I didn't spend much time on it so I can't say much. eMachineshop is awesome. For simple CAD work it's perfect. Nothing beats SW, though. If you go...

But if you use it in bursts it cools one side and heats the other. With a heatsink and a fan you could keep motor temps way down. As far as running it during a race, probably a bad idea. It could be...

I must be tainted by the fact that everyone posts when they fried a controller and not when it's working. I've seen at least 10 threads about people frying a 9920. I might have just gotten a bad one,...

If you stick a fan on the ESC (the fan would draw electricity from your UBEC (a necessary part)), the Mamba Max and 8XL on 12 cells would be a killer combo. I have a Mamba Max on 12 cells and a 10XL...

I don't know how many cells you want to run, but think long and hard about what speed controller you get. In my opinion, the 9920 is not worth the money. Many have had success with it but it seems...

The only ESC I know of that would...
