Programming MGM 80 amp with 5300

I've been hounding Mike with pm's so I thought I'd ask advice from others on this one...I got the motor and ESC all soldered up nicely. I will be running either 6-7 3300 cells in my MF2 with 19-21...

9918 and 9L brake fade

...the brakes on my set up are not working so good..right now I have the TQ3 but soon to be installing the JR XS3...am I able to set up the brakes better with the JR?

..anyway..it so pretty..all that nice heat shrink on there..which brings me to my question

How much of the wrapping do I need to cut before I can see the jumpers and what not.?
