i just figured out you maybe made the chassis...

yea its the fins on the motor thats the problem there. the smooth 40mm ones and likely the 41mm will fit in there. i think it was gcmachine that made the 42mm clamp. the silver one above looks nice

the tvp is so strong because it transfers hits...
the tvp is so strong because it transfers hits all along the vertical, but the flat plate won't do that. theres not enough vertical members to take the stress, so it flexes all over. i would not want...

i have a db17 with 5s and ofna truggy wide offset...
i have a db17 with 5s and ofna truggy wide offset rims/tires i got from ebay. 5s is my fav combination for it. the stock pinion lasted 5 runs, the robinson one well over a year

i use a robinson racing pinion and it wont die....
