I agree, they should give everyone a shot by having the races at different locations. Lots of people out there with fast r/c but not everyone can afford to travel.

I've been running this setup for a while now and...

I've been running this setup for a while now and havn't had these issues until recently. Gearing is 66/20 with a tire that is about a little over half an inch shorter than the stock tires.

Type "radar gun" into ebay. I've got one of the Bushnell ones that seems to be pretty accurate and havn't had any issues with it. It even picks up the speed (26mph) of my little brushed 18T as well.
