Mike's spacer is less thick; it would be easiest to drill a 2.5mm hole through the tray, spacer and chassis, and put a countersunk M3 screw through. just tap the chassis with M3.

They have got their limits. The measurements as made by Mike are done with an eagletree as well, so i guess he uses better...
