What could be wrong if a bl 4-pole motor have problems with no punch from standstill but pulls hard from a rolling start ?( 0% punshcontroll on the esc)

If i incase an esc in epoxy (leaving the coolingfins uncovered by epoxy !! ) will the esc overheat ? i was thinking of making an "icecube" ish block of epoxy around the circuboards to make4 them...

i have an older mm esc with the 1.19 firmware i think ! i tried the new firmware but then the esc stopt responding to throttle input and the lights were blinking ? so i whent back to the old firmware.

I put a mm esc in my summit now so i can keep on bashing ! And the mm esc chouldent have to work that hard in this little truck.

My traxxas vxl3m esc died !!

Hi !

On the second pack my vxl3m esc cutoff the motor because the lipo was emty so i put a new one in and the truck(1/16 summit) ran great for 20m and landed on it's roof and then the motor died...
