In fairness, the name DNX408 is so set up for an E version. I'd wait for Nuremburg first.

Wallot is right though - they're cars for people who like to brag about what car they have, and how it's...

With the tracks I run on, the surface is so loose that you really don't want to entice the back of the car round. It's also not my driving style - I'm the more controlled - perhaps slower - 'let the...

With the slipperential, are you using the 50T spur or the 46? Or the new Mod0.8 58T?

Looks fantastic though - I'm tempted to get an XT8 rather than convert my TRF801XT now...

Oh crikey!

I'd have thought there'd be plenty of interest from buggy racers - the 1800 motor is more suited to smaller tracks on 4S than the 2200, and to larger tracks on 5S.

Even so, what a...

I'm running 18/50 gearing, but would like to get my slipperential in there - problem is it rubs on the motor plate, even with a load of grinding (with the 48 spur - the 52 won't fit in at all). I'll...

When I got mine (though that was around 10 months ago, they were £3.99 (GBP) ~ which at the time, the exchange rate was around 2 USD to 1 GBP, so that's $8 already. Add the recentish price rises, and...

Really? That sucks, because in the UK you can get the antenna and they even allow you to replace it yourself, it's about £3.99. Same thing happened with my radio, so we called Horizon UK (used to be...

Or you could go for the new 1512 1800kV motor - that'll be a nice midpoint in case you ever want to run 5S, but can be geared up for 4S. Cogging effects will be accentuated though...

Still yet to receive my rotors from you though. What shipping do you use?!?!?

I have bought a T8 1400kV buggy motor for next season, don't let me down!

The 46T won't really work with a Hot Bodies Ve8 unless you use a massive pinion (like around 22+T).

I've got the 52T coming, but won't know whether it will fit or not - it might be a bit too big....

Running on EXACTLY 12V, you'll need 37.5A (180W per port (so 360 total), divided by 0.8, divided by 12). 40A would be preferable to account for power supply capacitors aging over time.

Yep, I'd go for the Hyperion 720i as well. It can do more cells, at a higher charge rate and has 2.5x the charging power (250W vs 100W).

Get a decent power supply (I know it's more expense), and...

No, you don't need digital servos for 2.4gHz. Spektrum supplied their original radios with two analogue servos - so they definately work.

That sounds more like a rotor failure to me (the 'no torque' thing puts me to this conclusion). If it was anything like my rotor failures, there won't be anything visibly wrong with it, until you try...

I don't think it would kill it, but the speed may be higher than desired. The motor's kV is designed for crawlers on 7.4, so try and get nearer to a max of 15318rpm (7.4 x 2070).

15318/11.1 =...

XB808 shocks are lovely - I preferred them over Losi shocks. However, I'd just stick with what's on the car (shock wise), as set-up info will be easier to get hold of and share with others.
