After taking the truck out for a run (ESC has a 4S or 12V cutoff btw) I temped everything and the batts were 120, ESC 140, motor 140. Not bad? I didn't think so. ...

Can I see your MM setups? What I mean is, if you guys are running 4S or 5S lipos in your MM, what are all the mods you do to it in order for it to work fine? Regaurding caps, BEC's, fans, etc.
