You could replace the 3rd channel switch, with a potentionmer, similar to the ones used for trims on channels 1 and 2 on older radio's. Just need to drill a hole where it won't cross out anything...

Not too expensive, but size wise it's a nudge too big. Size wise it's smaller than the VXL3m, except slightly taller. But weight wise it's double the weight, 81 grams VS 37 grams
