I drilled out a Kyosho spur to fit the RC8 diffs....

I drilled out a Kyosho spur to fit the RC8 diffs. Was easier than I thought to get it the holes aligned properly so the gear stays centered properly.

the front pulls a little more that the rear with this setup, so you get more steering under power.

The speed is actually registered quite quickly, and adjusts quickly.
It won't be perfect, but good for reference.
