I didn't go the standard route with my lst. Mostly just time. $ wise the most expensive thing was the esc. Even the LST2 chassis was less than 100.00. It handles so much better than the early emaxx that I want to sell my emaxx but I have to much in it

I would go with an e revo if I was starting out right now.
Its changed some more since these where taken.
