Generally speaking when asking questions it's proper to end the sentence with a ? or maybe in his case that would be ????????????????????????
My suggestion to him is if his truck doesn't work he should either throw money at it and hope it fixes itself or send it to me and I'll take it off his hands! (That actually deserves an exclamation)
