Seriously though, go with Rootar's advice and get the nastiest gears you can get. 32p will be fine and you can get 32p pinions in the 1/8th inch shaft and it will be leaps-and-bounds stronger than the 48p gears you're using now. With one of Mike's bore reducers you could run a Mod1 gear on there (should have gotten a 5mm shaft from the start but you live and learn) and a Revo spur gear. If you strip a Revo spur gear in an ER you've got either mesh or bearing problems.
