it is the same width as the vxl motor but it is also 16mm shorter. the vxl motor is a 36x56 and the ammo is a 36x40.
i know performance won't be the same but on 3s, i'm sure it'll still be insane. i only ran cheap tenergy ni-mh batteries anyway with the vxl. |
Do you still have the vxl esc? if so, you can just buy a sensor cable and run a 5.5r or other novak motor. they are pretty high quality and shouldn't heat up too much. A forum member (takedown) ran a setup with the 5.5r and got a 80 mph Rustler. If not a Novak, look into maybe a used vxl? or send yours in?
