great looking conversion. i converted a 1/8 Schumacher last fall and it turned out ok and was fast but it just didnt have the durability of the Ofna or Kyosho stuff. I have been wanting to do a road car like this but wondering if anyone can tell me what is the major difference between the Ofna DM-1 and the Kyosho Inferno. Is one better than the other?

My neighbor has a Inferno GT that he brought over to me. he cant get it to work and he loves my brushless stuff so he said i could turn it electric if i want. i just have to pay for it and then we would "share" the car but he doesnt really do anything with RC. i have everything i need to do the conversion so i am thinking it will be my next project. this is a great thread for tips on converting one of these on roaders.

any suggestions from some of you who have already gone this route. i notice alot of people converting the Ofna cars but not the Inferno. is there a reason for this?
