If you get one go for the 2200, the 2650 is too fast iMO for racing expecially on 5s lipo. Typically a 13 or 14t pinion is perfect on 4s lipo, going w/ 5s lipo even 12t will be a little fast for racing at a track. Bashing should be fine... you may want to swap to truggy gearing in your diffs to slow it down some... that or like I said go w/ the medusa motor and get a much lower KV to better work w/ your voltage.
