My neighbor has a Inferno GT that he brought over to me. he cant get it to work and he loves my brushless stuff so he said i could turn it electric if i want. i just have to pay for it and then we would "share" the car but he doesnt really do anything with RC. i have everything i need to do the conversion so i am thinking it will be my next project. this is a great thread for tips on converting one of these on roaders.

any suggestions from some of you who have already gone this route. i notice alot of people converting the Ofna cars but not the Inferno. is there a reason for this?
When I read this thread and began my conversion I learned that the DM-1 cars were a little more purpose-built for on-road. The Inferno is a good option but is essentially a buggy chassis. The DM-1 cars use different suspension geometry that offer better handling. That is my $.02.

I am currently selling my OFNA DM-1 Spec brushless conversion. I have everything required to complete the conversion but got into racing 1/8th scale off-road (brushless, of course). Email me if interested . . .
