Just gear it down if it is too fast... 1850kv on 6s is fine, and you may find that the higher motor rpm coupled with lower gearing is actually more efficient than lower rpm with taller gearing. Lower gearing equals less load. I can imagine it will have a snappy bottom end, but you can tame that with esc settings if necessary.

I found that the cc 2200 motor on 5s lipo (44k rpm or so) was very efficient in my lst. To be honest it may be almost as good as the 1521 1y on 6s (less than 39k rpms) and the lower torque levels made it easier to drive. Most motors have a sweet spot, never found that spot with medusa motors, so i gave up on them and went back to neu. No experience with tekin motors, but I still think the neu are the best available with the cc 2200 coming a close second!

I had a few medusa motors in a buggy and they all ran too warm for my liking. There is no comparison to neu, and the motors were not that much cheaper. All of the materials were a few steps down on the medusa motors, you got what you paid for.
