All you need is a stout piece of aluminum (1 or 2 mm max), a way to cut it or have it cut to size for you, and a bench vise and hammer to bend it. Drill your holes, stick on a thin piece of foam and you have a custom speed controller mount. I did the same thing with my battery mounts also, but then again I have access to a metal bandsaw and an ironworker to snap cut my pieces:) You can find the aluminum at the larger hardware stores.
