Awesome electric go karts

Got two videos of electric go karts you guys might like.

First up is a brushless kart, has 3 Turnigy outrunners and a centrifugal clutch and 12S10P LiPo -


When they really nail the throttle it spins the tires while rolling, talk about torque!


Second is a kart with 8 12 Volt deep cycle batteries and a 48 Volt 1000 Amp PWM motor controller, not sure on the motor -


That one is pretty cool too, but I wish they did some kind of speed run in the video. Seems to have alot of torque though.



I wonder how much it would cost to convert a kart, like just a rough average. I have a racing kart like the one in the first video that I used to race when I was in the 5th grade, got out of kart racing and haven't touched it since, might be a cool project to convert it.
