Too good to be true 2.4ghz radio? - 03.06.2010, 02:48 AM

Hey, i'm curious if anyone has any experience/feedback on this pretty dang cheap MX Sport 2.4ghz radio from Airtronics? I've never used any of their products, i've been a Spektrum man for years with good results, but soon i'll be getting a Baja 5T and I will eventually ditch the FM radio for a 2.4ghz. But i'm having a harder time justifying spending the money on a DX3S radio when I could come out major money ahead getting the MX Sport. Though I do like the aspect of the telementry with speed and temp monitoring of the DX3S, being the computer geek that I am, but man, its pricey. And at $80, the MX Sport freaking half the price of a comparable Spektrum DX3.0 which just astounds me.

I'm wondering though, whats going to be my tradeoff with something this cheap in comparison to say, the very popular Futaba 3PM or even the DX3.0? Thanks for any incite.
