183Amps recorded on Rustler with 3s2p A123 -

Using the Eagletree datalogger, I recorded a peak of 183 amps from 3s2p pack in my Rustler dragster running a 380 6L Feigao motor and a mamba max ESC. These cells are bigger monsters then I thought they were. I still need to figure out how to get the data out(layziness on my part). I cleared the logger and then forgot to save the data. Going to do it again if it doesn't rain today.
The voltage was at 10+ when I started running. Going to measure how much juice my 2lbs camaro sucks.
I had to put the fan back onto the mamba ESC as well. It reached 205F in a hurry and the motor was about 139F after 5 minutes or so. I have to reduce the punch control to reduce the wheelies and amp draw.
In 2p config you could expect even more from A123 cells. I see Amp peaks of 100-120A used as 10s1p (My eagletree v1 is rated for max 100A). So if your ESC and Motor is able to provide/suck 200-240A, your battery pack would provide it for short bursts. At 100A as 1p config voltage could drop to 2V (i see a range from 2 to 2.4V). It really depends on cell temperature and cable length.
From a Power point of view i calculate with a max of 250Watt per A123 cell (110A@2.25V). So 3s2p are able to provide up to 1500 Watt (and maybe a little bit more when you warm them up before driving). There is also a feelable difference in power when they come fresh from the charger as when you drive them say 1 day after you charged them.
I know about the warming up part of the batteries to get more power out of them and that 250watt per cell makes sense as I recorded 1400+ watts. The measurement was taken on freshly charged packs.
i see that you like the 380c 6l! You have definately run one harder than I have! My old one was in an emaxx on 3s, and I had it geared for about 55mph!
