expect to pay about $80 for a 9XL and $125 for a Medusa 60/2000...the Medusa being a better design its a pretty good mid priced motor between a Feigao and a Neu

I Think the wanderer/feigao 9xl motors are longer and have more power right? I believe the shorter medusa is the equivalent of like an L. I know that a feigao 9xl does work perfect on 4s but you will want mikes heat sink motor clamp no matter which one you get.

you right on the legth difference the XL can is 74mm and the Medusa is 60mm, but the deisgn the Medusa is better, also you could wait when Medusa releases the 70mm can which has been said to be August

I run the Medusa 2000 in my Erevo and it's much better then the 8xl in my maxx. It's got more power and runs cooler on higher gearing.By the time you add the heat sink there's not much difference in price.

ive got rc monster clamp and 7xl is the 9xl ok or the madusa beter then the 7xl so should i keep my motor or change it i would keep it if i could get the gearing right but if i got a lower kv motor would i get the performance still.

I can only tell you from my experience with the 8.But going from that I would think it would still outperform the 7.I would consider it a big downgrade to go to a 9xl.
