Nothing on road, off road just put some tape over them. The tape also grabs small dirt that gets in from the front. It's better than nothing. Or find a plastic bottle cap and make it fit some how?

I've seen someone use a piece of plastic on the back and use a piece of shrink wrap to hold it on.

you could use and rcm heatsink clamp but cut out a plastic or aluminum disk that covers the holes and put it under the rear clamp so that it holds it on there, now you have a heatsink and dirt cover.....im sure somebody else already thought of this but i dont remember who it was.

The cap off a plastic gallon of milk fits the 36mm motors pretty good. Drill out three holes for the wires and slide them through it. I used a piece of cloth tape around the end of the motor and push the cap on there. Then trimmed the excess tape. I can't find any pictures of that incredible idea. It works fine, looks a little funny though. I took it of a while back when I found this tape at a thrift store for a couple dollars. It's the aluminum type tape they use for heating/cooling duct work and furnaces. It has no problem sticking on the motor and handles the heat the motor puts out. I got it on the front and back of the medusa and put it on the back of one of the Neu motors also. If anyone wants to try some just pm me. I can cut some off and put it in and envelope. Lick it, stick it, ship it. I don't know what a role would cost at the hardware store. There's a lot on this roll.

You can tell where the cloth tape and milk cap use to be on the end of the medusa.

If your still using it I guess it working for you too. You been using for very long? I just found it about a month ago and tried it. Never really thought about the heat issue of a peice of this vs a plastic cap. I would guess this would be better for the motor heat.

I cut out an 0.05mm alu disc and put it in a dremel mandrel, spun it in the drill up against various abrasives till it was perfect circle, then thermal epoxied it to the back of my Ammo motor (big holes at the back). Works a charm ;)
