Great Job Castle

I ran my v3 for the first time this weekend. Took it to the track and ran the snot out of it. Ran five full packs straight through (20+ minutes each run) and not a single issue. The fan still works. Cogging was practically non-existant. I noticed that it is smoother when I spin out and the car rolls backwards - It didn't cog at all.

Did I mention the fan still works!!! First one that has survived more than 2 minutes with me. Temps never got about 90 on the speed control after a run (It was only about 45-50 degrees indoors, but still phenomenal).

Thats great to hear! I am very pleased with my V1 and V2 MMM ESC's with the new firmware. Both work absolutely perfectly. And I have a V3 coming from CC, so I expect it to work just like yours and my other 2. Good luck with your races!

People are so quick to bitch and moan when the ESCs go nuclear, but don't really ever just say great job.

Is it perfect? No, but damn near close. Very happy with it thus far. Very smooth throttle and braking. I barely cogs when I am even trying to make the car crawl. Noticeably better.

I still would prefer a more solid case design, maybe an aluminum bottom with delrin top, but the guts of the ESC are working well.

He/she forgives, but when I buy something, mainly when it takes so much time showing off of all their big ones characteristic, I wait, simply that completes with them.

If, by chance there is a failure, because I don't see it normal, but good, I wait that if there is a second version, after having had the first failure, have made sure to the maximum that there are not new shortcomings.

... but that there is a third version, and, apparently, it still fails, I don't see it like to thank the.

The case is that, at least me, when I take out my MMM v.2, prayer so that he/she doesn't burn and I believe that that is not to appreciate anything.

... less still when I know that if it fails I will spend as little one month with the stopped car.

i agree but how many v1's and v2's failed i had a v2 that lasted a pack to me thats a poor product i have 3 packs on my new v3 so far and hope to have many more

They definitely had some stumbles. However, I feel they have been pretty good about fixing the issues and communicating with us. From my perspective, they were the first to try and really make a product geared towards our use while the other manufacturers for the most part blew off the 1/8 electric stuff. Now everyone is jumping on the bandwagon.

Just saying I am happy with it and hopefully all the kinks are finally worked out. There will always be growing pains. I am sure all the products are only going to get better from here.

It doesn't seem him for the first post of this same branch:

- MMM V3 Dead Short on Lipo!

- MMM died during start up.

- Do Not Open Your Cases Anymore.

- I killed it... MMMv3 bit the dust.

- Dead V3 - Kill the ESC Fan!

- MMM V3 problem with heatsink.

- Another v3 gone.

- MMM V3 dead (yep another).

- WARNING! A new way for MMMs to fail including your precious V3!

Also, let us suppose that there are no longer problems with V3 (God willing was certain).

I have a V2 with the up-to-date firmware and at the moment he/she has not given me problems:

- Do I send it so that they change it to me?

- Do I wait to that fails me?

- Do I request the box to substitute it?

- Don't I use it a lot, if it fails me exactly when it finishes the what a guarantee does it happen?

- If I send (from the foreigner) it, how long will I be without car?, how much will it cost me the change?

After all that happened I believe that Castle should assume its errors and to offer all the users a change in home.

Went to the track yesterday and ran five full packs again. Once again, the MMM performed flawlessly. While it was only about 45 degrees inside the track area, the MMM never got above 80 degrees. I ran each pack down to the LVC (20-25 minutes depending on pack mah). The fan is still working too! Loving it...

I'm having a good time too. I think the V3 is it. I dont know if you guys have noticed, but the V3 is not out yet. We are first to get them on replacement. How sweet it is.
