Very nice. What made you go with the 70mm can vs. the 60mm?

Because too much power is just right! I love torque, and I also figured that a bigger can will run cooler than a smaller one. I don't like to push my stuff if I don't have to. Sumertime down here in Texas can be brutal, and as a result I design my rigs to run cool so I can play anytime I want to. That setup there with me running around is maybe hitting 120 - 130. That's only running on grass, I expect it to be cooler on a track where it's not in a high-amperage situation all the time.

As it is (15/46) it runs great, is controllable, runs cool and has wicked acceleration. I think the runtime is at least 15 mins, probably longer. I haven't timed it yet. Definitely going to have to get out to a track now.

That video was awsome in HD. You've got a reall nice running buggy there. I have the 80mm 1600kv medusa on order and I can't wait to try it in my truggy or muggy.

OMG

I am running similar setup HB L2PE buggy, Medusa 36-60-1600 14/46 and have 8 min runtime...

What's wrong with my setup? Should I use bigger pinion?

I think jones may have been a little light on the throttle.

Really hard to tell. Driveline drag? Different motor size? I'm not sure I can pin this one down for ya.

That, my good man, is unlikely. :)

A bigger pinion will probably shorten your runtime - if anything, try a smaller one.

I feel it is undergeared.

Gearing is not that obvious with four pole motor

I will check it with ET.
