15c High 4000+ mAh Lipo Usage - 06.13.2009, 09:25 AM

I was just curious if its at all possible to use 15c Lipos with the CC Monster Mamba 2200kv combo with any kind of luck? I wanted to maybe try in my 8ight-t 1.0 race roller. i was thinking maybe 4-6 cell lipo with 4000 - 8000 mAh. what would happen? would it be decent for just bashing around?

Thanks

I tried a 15C 4s in my Lightning Stadium Pro conversion, It worked great for about 7-8minutes. Started to get hot and swell big time.
Recomend 20-25c+ to be safe and keep your investment, but more the better !

I retired from RC, now life is all about guns and long range shooting.

I say 25-30c. You could fry your esc from insufficient lipos. I personally rock the 30's.

15c x 4000mah = 60amps, no good.
Using a pair of packs in parallel would be fine (120amps), but then size/weight may be an issue for you.
