Dual BL? - 01.29.2006, 10:21 PM

Hi Everyone!!!
Just curious to know why when changing from 2 brushed motors to brushless system, the norm is to use only one?
Is it because only one is enough?
Is it because there is no speed control for 2 motors and will need two speed controllers?
Thanks:017:

Its simply because brushless puts out alot more rpm and torque than a brushed application, daul bl is just a waste of time and money, if you want more info on daul bl , ask johnnymaxxima hes got a emaxx with daul 9L's .

The problem with nitro's these days are that they arent brushless... LOL

One bigger brushless motor will out do a dual brushless set up. One good brushless will destroy the drive train in a stock maxx.

Peace!

Yes duall brushless is a waste of money. I just did it because I could. Kind of a show truck I guess. It is too heavy to bash with also. A single brushless is usually plenty enough and way out performs the stock titans. Although my duall setup goes about 12mph faster than my single BL.

couldnt gear up a bit due to it being dual? i did that with my dual HV setup geared a little higher than stock form in my emaxx.
