I was never a big fan of roll cages,I use heavy duty 7075 roll BARS as it usually takes more hits than a bunch of smaller rods,I'm sure it'll look good on an flm maxx though!--Josh
I know the thin rod roll cages bend and break welds easy, but I was wondering if something like this would hold up a bit better. I don't need a full cage, but I have a high mounted 1521 in my savage that I'd like to have some protection for from roof landings.

have not used that one, but the bolt points are a lot closer to the actual roll cage so fundamentally this should be much stronger. Id purchase this! I also think there are plastic ones that would work well too.
Paralyzed(harold) fit one of the RC-solution's NITRO cages on his 3906 FLM chassis. IIRC he just had to do alittle triming on the sides of the cage. It looked GOOD. I'll try to find it.
EDIT: FOUND IT! CLICK Shocker-->> it ends in an unexpected place. Noob infested, crazed mod infested, but safe. You guessed it.

WOW...that's a BEAST. it looks like it might be a tight fit with Mike's battery trays though. do you know if he has any pics of it with batteries strapped in?
