ESC with lvc

I'm getting a new brushless system for my Revo. I've got an old HV-Maxx, but I didn't have to read many threads to find out that an upgrade is recommended. I want an esc that has low voltage cutoff and a motor. The price isn't really that important. Would a $90 motor be good enough? Or are the more expensive motors that much better?

I think I've read almost every single thread about brushless setups. There's probably an answer to all my questions out there somewhere but I hope you can tolerate a new thread on this. There isn't much help on forums here in Norway as nitro seems to be the only thing that matters. My great plan is to build a Revo that blows away all their ideas about electric power not being suited for a monster.
