1950/8 + 6S or 1940/8 + 5S for Savage? - 07.09.2006, 12:10 AM

Hi everyone,

I'm having a hard time making a decision for my purchase. I currently race with an HPI Super RS4 with 1920/8, Schulze 18.97 with 14.4 volts of Gp 3300s. Bloody thing is insane. Absolutely love it.

This past Friday I went out and splurged on the Losi LST2 package from Fine Design -

Should be nuts. Can't wait....Sooooooo, knowing full well I won't be satisfied with my existing Savage 4.6 anymore...I decided to just convert it to brushless one time. Gonna get the Kershaw designs conversion kit and now need motor, controller, lipo and pinion.

I do not race much, I just bash with a bunch of friends who are all brushless nuts too.

What I want is 50mph + performance with wheelies available at practically any speed. If my drivetrain explodes I couldn't careless. I'll probably actually be happy about it.

I'm leaning more towards a 1950 BUT, if a 1940 with 4S or 5S will give me what I want in the above paragraph then why bother with more weight right?

All opinions and recommendations are much appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

G
