??9920 and plastic center gear?? - 10.17.2006, 10:51 AM

I was curious about when the BK warrior 9920 controllers would be back in stock cause I know they have been on backorder for quite awhile. Unless I just miss it when they are in.

And I also am looking for a plastic spur gear for my hellfire, it uses a center diff and I am having a hard time finding a gear that I can use with it and my brushless motor.

THanks guys,

BIG D

I think you can use a kyosho spur on that. I thought it uses the same cups as the savage.

Why is that I wonder? After all, the stock Nitro engine uses a hardened steel clutchbell. :032:

If you are referring to the Century motor gears from Tower, I would recommend against them. They are not that 'hardened' - I have gone through a 14T gear in about 45 minutes of driving.

I hate to mention the name here, but CF of FD uses a true hardened Mod1 clutchbell with a 5mm mount epoxied in place that may add just a little weight at the motor, but I have been running one in a Kyosho MP7.5 conversion with a metal spur with no problems.
