Recommend me a Lipo pack (or two) for a BL Jato - 01.03.2007, 01:11 AM

Any recommendations on a size and/or model of Lipo pack for my brushless jato running a mamba max system?

I'd like to run 3s, or 4s if the controller will handle it.

Looking for 20-30 minutes of runtime...

Maxx amps 8000mah pack you can get it in 2,3,4,5,6s i think. They give you awsem runtimes and good punch.

My charger can only do 3s, so if I go 4s it would have to be a pair of 2s packs.

Is 8000mah not a little overkill for my application?

Not at all. It is more than enough current capabilities and it will give you tons of runtime.

If your charger only does 3S, then use only 3S and use a higher KV motor. It will simplify things in the end.

4s 8000mah in a Jato is a huge pack for that vehicle IMO. I can run my rustler a half hour on a 4200Mah 3s pack. That should be more than enough juice for your needs. And it wont weigh you truck down as much.

I'm running it on a 9L and a warrior 7020.

(actually, I can almost never run a whole pack through it before I break something anyway. Its slightly over powered:p )

I can't decide if its more fun
to make it...
or break it...
