buying my first RC

THanks, looking into buying my first RC Truck. Live in the country and want to play.. First, I have been looking at the Traxx Revo, gas, have rough ground to play on.. 2 acres, but have to share with a horse... Next, do I want 2 wheel drive or 4X4.. I am thinking 2WD would be a little better and more fun. spin cookies and stuff. also take down on the beach.. or would I be better with a 4x4.. I have the means to make jumps and what ever I want. (tractor with Backhoe).. any input would be greatly appreciated.. thank Tracy
