What do you call cheap? Mike is the first place I'd check, then maybe starluckrc.

What defines cheap? Mike at rc-monster.com sells them for about $15, last time I checked (today) they were all out at starluck r/c. The only other place (where I ordered mine) is www.finedesignrc.com They are like $11, but if thats all you are getting, shipping costs $10 and isnt worth it unless you absolutely need it. They are hard to find, especially in stock. Fine design is looked down on by members here, so don't go around promoting it. :027:

The smallest they have is a 16t. I think that is going to be too hot for me.

Genius Serum, if you guys are running the 66 tooth emaxx gear you can go up to the 72 t maxx gear. Then run a larger pinion and have the same ratio. Or convert to mod 1 spurs and pinion chices are much better and the gears last longer.

You could also use a monster-gt spur (mod1) on the e-maxx slipper (using the traxxas or associated pegs)
