Short video of the Bomb-Proof Products truck!!! - 04.20.2007, 10:42 PM

Hi everyone,

I just made a few videos of the Bomb-Proof Products truck. One with 22.2v full throttle and the other with 36v not even half throttle. If only I had a center motor mount I could really do some real testing with the 44.4v. Hope you all enjoin this short videos. I will also be posting this in other forums.

Wow, now lets see it on the street or dirt. I can't even imagine how fast it would go on 44.4 volts.

If I can get a motor mount made that will put the motor in the middle of the chassis, I can make the packs fit in there, but for now I can only do test it like that.

Bomb-Proof still has parts to make them here is the e-mail racegrafix@aol.com. I'm going to modify the battery tray to fit the 22.2v lipos in the truck. I have to see if I can get a BK 3695 to run it. Hopefully Mike can see this and talk to BK to see if they can lend a hand.

Luciano, I'm gonna e-mail Mike tonight when I get a chance. He should be able to get it done for around $75 or so since 2 will be machined at the same nice.

I found a way to mount the 36v pack in the truck. I also took out the 22 teeth pinion and went with a 14 teeth one. If everything goes well with the 14, I'll switch back to the 22 for some speed runs.

I just came back from doing a quick test run. The spur, pinion gears are fine. The front diff is fine, but the rear locked on me. The ESC and motor only got warm after a little over 5mins. of running. I'm thinking of installing a 16 teeth pinion, but I'll probably go with the 22.

Is it ballanced on each side of the chassis relatively similarly?

It is somewhat balanced. I couldn't get my video camera to work. I will see if I can borrow my friend's camera tomorrow.

New video of the Bom-Proof truck - 04.26.2007, 03:34 PM

Here is a short video of the truck in a small parking lot. I hope you guys like it. I'll make a new one, but with much more space.
