No, but as soon as tower hobbies has them in stock I will be very familiar with them. I hate the stock rear toe link, and have bent many of them, so this is what i have been waiting for. I have used rpm arms on many vehicles and have been very happy with the quality and performance and am sure that these will be just as good!
I currently have RPM arms on a FLM chassis and FLM Hybrid bulk E-maxx. I am anticipating my next "weak link" which will probably be the arms or axle crriers at the pillow balls. I am hoping these will help.
I think they are a great idea. I always hated the rear turnbuckle. that was always the part I broke in a cartwheel. I think this is a slick idea. It would be better if they did it without the e-clips on the hingepins. E-clips suck and should be banished from RC
I can't decide if its more fun
to make it...
or break it...
I've run the stock type rpm stuff on a lightweight (Slayden type) Tmaxx and they've taken everything I could dish out. Only thing - if the nylon formula hasn't changed, they're very flexible, especially on a hot day. Precision type cvds (UE) will get bent with this kind of setup.
I agree though, a 3.3 setup shouldn't have any probs. Only thing I hate worse than e-clips are those phillips headed wood screw things they call screws.
The idea is not new - the same thing was tried out a few years ago, but they never caught on and they disappeared. At least with rpm behind them, they'll be around for a while.
