I see that as a $200 ESC, $130 to buy it then $70 to get it going again.
I would favour foam rather than shoe goo as it makes service easier should it need it again in the future.
If I was to glue it I would go the hole hog and waterproof it with electronic safe silicone sealant, I would only consider that if it is out of warranty though, and I have no idea if castle give a new warranty with replacement ESCs or if the warranty continues from when you bought the original, which in your case I'm guessing has expired hence you having to pay for your replacement.
