MM LiPo Cutoff Issues - 08.19.2008, 05:06 PM

I'm trying to turn on the LiPo cutoff and when I turn it on, the controller stops working. It will work when it is set to No Cutoff or 5.0v, but not anything else. My batteries are above the cutoff voltage. It seems like its not arming, but I can hear the beeps that says it is. . .

Are you programming it via the usb, or buy the remote? I would check to make sure you have the lastest software and firmware, as there was an issue backalong with one of the updates stoppin the esc from working properly when a custom lvc setting was used, or some't like like..

what voltage are you ruinning? The newer MMs dont like to run 5s with the LVC turned on.

I can't decide if its more fun
to make it...
or break it...

Its an older one which I was told ran great on 5s. I have the LVC set to 12.4 and I also tried 12 and neither worked.

i had to drain a little battery (when fresh off the charger) to get it to run on 5s

what is your pack voltage at?

you may want to set your lvc to the correct input! the 12.4 or 12 is for 4s

try it on custom and at 16v

It was at 7.6 for each. I also tried and it wouldn't work with 2s either. . .

I'm trying to make it work with 4s, not 5s BTW

are you using a external battery or a external bec?

on 2s is the red wire back in the plug to use the internal bec?
