It is quite expensive, but would be a nice option. For many it's nice that it has a standard 540 mounting pattern, but I don't like that. I prefer the 30mm spacing and 4mm bolts that the KB-45 uses. The screws holding the endbells on are a nice touch, though.

A legal BL motor for 1/10 scale racing is sold around 100 € these days... so it's no that expensive. Everthing sold in France take 19,6 % of TAX

maybe it will run cooler having so much more torque than just a standard XL, so who is gonna order one and test it out?

it is a hoss of a motor at 45mm diameter smooth can and XL length, and at 550 grams it out weighs all of the other motors we are using.

i bet it would run good, prolly wouldnt get great runtime but you never know.

I think it said it has a 5mm shaft. At the bottom of the page, the pinion teeth are called dents. Thats different. I think thats close to $160.00

Interesting find. I wonder if another vendor carries this motor. I'm not sure if this correlation can be applied, but running a mamba 280-sized motor in my mini-inferno was nothing but a heat pump. I switched to a 400-sized can with tons more torque and about half the kv value and got way better performance and reliability.

Just looked up some comments on Feigao's 580 motor.. Doesn't seem suitable for car use according to some. Check it:
