Fuzzy night on Bourbon Street

So Shaun (TDC57) flew into New Orleans on wed night, and he gave me a call to see if I wanted to meet up and have a few drinks. I live about 30 miles north, so I figured it would be a fun night out.

I will first say that most of the time all of us here talk about tiny cars or make jokes. Rarely do I talk to someone here on the phone or in person. So it was interesting to me to meet an fellow r/cer from the other side of the country. I have cnversed with a few guys here via email, but it is always fun to meet peple and talk in person.

Let me tell you, Shaun is a hoot. Really honest guy, great sense of humor too. You may not get that from his posts, but he has a quick wit and loves a good laugh! We went to Pat O'Briens courtyard bar and had a few drinks and discussed everything from r/c to politics. I had a great time, nice to meet people from different parts of the country!

If anyone else is ever near New Orleans or the Mississippi gulf coast, drop me a line and I will hang out with you! I did have a bit too much to drink, but it was all in good fun!

HAHA, good one. I wondered who would try to make a gay joke, should have figured that you would be on top of the list! He did mention that he has been chatting with you. I wish I could get to the RCM bash... Too busy at work and my vaction time is at the end of the year. Sucks!

hey linc lets plan ahead for the next rcm bash, we can take my truck and trailer or our motorhome prolly need to get another along for the trip and then we can split the gas and take as many toys as we want.

what do ya think? maybe we'll get a prize for the longest drive....

Sounds like a plan to me. Where are you in arkansa? I could meet you up there and then split the gas with you. I may be able to get a freind to go in on it too! Chip Cross would most likely be interested, as he seems to be getting into BL big time! we would get the prize for best humor, or at least worst dressed! (lutach might win the last one, seen his alligator shoes?!?!?!)

Had a GREAT TIME!.. It was a true pleasure meeting the man, the myth the legend.. thanks again for the great time and glad to hear you made it home safe and sound!....

You are more than welcome to come down and participate in the "gayness". No gall bladder, that sucks. But at least you are a cheap date, Shaun will appreciate that!
